Strategic Accounts Advocate

Our commercial lines department is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Strategic Accounts team.  This is the opportunity you have been waiting for to take your career to the next level.


Provide timely, accurate guidance and service to our commercial lines clients, focusing on client satisfaction.



  • Retention & growth of an assigned book of VIP commercial lines accounts

  • Internal handling of all aspects of day to day account management including:

    • Policy review and renewal processing

    • Maintenance of agency management system

    • Endorsements and policy changes

    • Answer coverage inquiries

    • Evidence of Property/Certificates of Insurance

  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure all service needs are met

  • Identify opportunities for account rounding, cross selling & up-selling

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance company representatives

  • Work collaboratively with all departments to maintain operational flow


Required skills and qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of commercial lines coverage and markets

  • Proven customer service skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Well organized and able to and prioritize workflow to completion of tasks

  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment to make sure service needs are met

  • Attention to detail, creativity valued as key attributes

  • Proficient in Sagitta/AMS360 and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Property & Casualty license required (or willingness to obtain)

  • Professional Insurance designations a plus



  • 3+ years’ commercial insurance experience.
